Art and creativity have always been a part of my life. Through my work, I strive to inspire childlike wonderment at nature and the universe by envisioning inner realms of imagination and spirituality. It is my hope that my work brings joy to the world.
My paintings are a way for me to connect with the magic and whimsy of the natural world. To me, art is a way of reforming the world and creating sacred spaces, of expressing our deepest dreams, and defining ourselves and our universe.
I am endlessly fascinated with the abundance of nature, including the intricate patterns of connection between the cosmos, our planet, and humanity. I am also deeply drawn to mythology and stories, which define our inner worlds and connect to us to each other and the universe. When I paint, I strive to tap into visions that offer a way to commune with our personal mythologies and the natural world.
I am as much a healer as I am an artist. Art has been a pathway to well-being for me, through self-awareness, self-improvement, and community. Creative expression has proved a mechanism to heal past relationships and build new ones, all while reflecting my inner truths and discoveries outward. As an artist and educator, I am an ambassador of experiences and insights, which I strive to share with others.
